I found these to be comfortable right out of the box, and I don't have any complaints. That said, I feel like the Hypercourt Express 2 were wider in the toe box and generally had a better fit for my foot. The Hypercourt Express 3 feel a bit narrower and longer.
My hypercourt express 2 had been my go to pickleball shoe for the last 3 years, but I had started to feel some tightness in the toe area as my toes were taking a beating as my game got more aggressive. I could not believe that the Hypercourt Express 3 offered a bit more toe space in the medium width--enough so that I felt there was no break in period. After wearing them in the house for 1 1/2 days, I wore them for 3 hours of intense play today and forgot I even had new shoes on! yay! the only issue I had was the heel was a bit looser than I was used to --I didn't like the feel when I laced them to the last grommet--so I kept them laced as they were delievered and my feet feel great tonight! Now my new go to shoes...PLEASE start making some bright women's colors --black with some neon--many of us don't like white shoes and pastels...but Bravo on the update to the Hypercourt Express 3!! I do love the Black version I ordered and I am replacing the black laces with some bright colors to satisfy my craving for some flash!
