ELIGIBILITY: The K-Swiss x McLaren Formula 1 Team Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States or D.C. who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, directors, members or agents of K-Swiss, Inc., 101 N Brand Blvd Ste 1700 Glendale, CA, 91203 (“Sponsor”), McLaren F1 Team, or any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or any advertising or promotion agencies involved in this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), as well as the immediate family and household members of each such person, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on October 16, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”), and ends on October 19, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes. Submission of an entry does not constitute receipt.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, follow @kswiss on Instagram and do either (or both) of the following: (1) Tag a friend in the comments below the Sweepstakes post including the hashtag #McLarenF1TeamxKSwiss_Sweepstakes; and/or (2) Share the Sweepstakes post to Instagram stories using #McLarenF1TeamxKSwiss_Sweepstakes and tag @kswiss. Taking these actions requires having an Instagram account, which is free.
Limit one (1) entry per person and per Instagram account via each of the two entry methods listed above, for a maximum of two (2) entries. Any attempt to enter more than the allowed number of times via multiple names, email addresses, Instagram accounts, accounts, or any other means, may result in disqualification from this and any other promotional offerings from Sponsor. Use of any macro, bot, script or other automated means to submit entries is prohibited. Proof of posting is not proof of accessibility of the posting to Sponsor or anyone else. Sponsor’s database computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. Each entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the social media account used to enter. An “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the social media account used to enter.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about October 20, 2025. The potential winner will be notified via direct messaging in Instagram. No liability is assumed for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. Failure to respond to any winner notification within 7 days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Any potential winner may be required to execute a declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (where legal) (“Prize Claim Documents”). If any potential winner is a minor under the laws of his/her state of residence, at Sponsor’s option, the prize either may be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian of winner, or parent or legal guardian of winner may be required to ratify and sign all required documents. If a potential winner fails to comply with Sponsor’s requests for Prize Claim Documents, is found to be ineligible, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she may be disqualified and prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.
PRIZES/ODDS: One (1) prize is available: A package of McLaren Formula 1 Team themed items comprising the following three things: (a) An autographed McLaren Formula 1 Team driver card, (b) A pair of McLaren F1 Team sneakers, and (c) A McLaren F1 Team apparel item. Colors, sizes and styles of sneakers and apparel items are in Sponsor’s discretion and subject to availability as is the selection of the driver-autographed card. The total estimated retail value of the prize is $270.00.
Prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent or substitution of the prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor may substitute a prize of comparable value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with acceptance or use of any prize. Not sponsored by McLaren F1 Team.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
ADDITIONAL RULES: Acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By participating, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. No responsibility is assumed for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled, incomplete or illegible entries, all of which are void; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, mobile device, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's mobile device related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, may be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s). Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (and if you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian) agree that the Sweepstakes Entities (a) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or from acceptance, awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (b) other than including any standard warranty from the manufacturer, have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes the liability of the Sponsor for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Sponsor. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you further agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to reasonable and actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney's fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain any award for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for reasonable and actual out-of-pocket expenses. These rules and any disputes relating hereto are governed by the internal laws of the State of California without regard to principles of conflicts of laws, and by entering, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Los Angeles, California for resolution of any disputes relating to the Sweepstakes and waive any objection thereto.
